Information
  • The licensed ECMWF HRES (9-km, 0.1°) 00Z and 12Z runs: every 3 hours to F144, then every 6 hours to F360. Past F240 some maps come from ECMWF's 0.25° open data, which ECMWF posts about 7½ hours after the run starts. The newest run fills in as the data arrive (from about 1:10 AM/PM EST); this page picks up new hours by itself.
  • LAGGED (6 RUNS) shows the current run beside the five before it, all valid at the same time: how the forecast for that moment has changed run to run.
  • SAVE LOOP makes an MP4 or GIF of what you are looking at, for all the frames or just a range, in your browser; SAVE IMAGE saves the map on screen, or the six lagged runs on one PNG. Nothing is uploaded.
